What happens when you hustle too hard?
Wish someone told me this a decade ago
WebStreet is the first platform to offer accredited investors passive ownership of cash flowing online businesses.
How? They acquire high-growth businesses like Micro-Saas, and Amazon FBA at low multiples giving investors an asymmetric bet to the upside.
So while real estate bubbles are popping and the stock market is looking shaky, WebStreet is on track to deliver over 20% IRR to its investors.
Find out why investors are buzzing about their newest round here.
Happy friday brother,
Going to ruffle some feathers today. Hopefully by now you know it’s with good intention.
This is a reminder that I need every few weeks.
"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" - Mark 8:36
Hustle culture.
The grind.
The 24/7 work week.
It's all the rage.
But here's the truth:
It's a trap.
A dangerous one.
You might be thinking,
"Come on, Dom. Hard work is how you get ahead."
And you're right—to a point.
One of my old friends Frank was a living example of how too much hustle can backfire.
Frank was grinding day and night, barely sleeping, and guess what happened?
His health tanked, relationships soured, and ironically, his business started to crumble.
He was gaining the world but losing himself.
Now, here's what will probably piss you off.
Hustle without balance is just setting you up for failure.
It’s a ticking time bomb.
When I was stuck in the hustle culture rat race, I used to tell myself, “this is just a phase”.
That’s bullshit.
So, what do you do about it?
Audit your hustle. Honestly.
Are you sacrificing your well-being, relationships, or even ethics for that "gain the whole world" dream?
If you are, it's time for a hard pivot.
Find balance. Your kids are only young once.
They will never remember what type of car you picked them up in or if the kitchen is bigger.
Did you know that trading your time for money is the worst way to earn money.
So, take some time to evaluate your situation.
Make the changes today, not tomorrow.
Because trust me, the world gained at the expense of your soul and the youth of your kids ain't worth it.
Let this controversy spark some better thinking.
Agree or disagree, hit reply and let's hash it out.
Talk soon,
Dom
